Do you think that for starting a topic you should get like 5 extra posts on your post count? I think that would be a good idea because you are the person who thought of the topic in which people reply to so they can get some more posts on their post count. That should be one of the bonuses to starting topics, more posts for you...what do you think?

I don't think the post count really matter.
unless you are in the borderline of being an official member. If you get more post count for making topic. People who are trying to get their post count up to become an office member will make millions of pointless thread.
