Hello! I'm just now trying my first skin for xanga, and I did the design part ok. To see the image i want to use, try this link. http://img241.echo.cx/img241/4408/icpskin22ks.jpg

Ok what I want to do is put the actual blog entries on the right box, and have the left module seperated from it and have it go inside the left box. Now I've read about two different DIV layers, and frankly i'm lost because everything I've tried seems to only move both of them at once and not just seperately. Now, if it's not possible to move the standard module that's already in my journal (with the user name, pic, subscriptions, etc) is there a good how to for making this all work?? To see my xanga, click here http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=The_Forgotten_Ghost

I think, or hope, you experts see what I'm trying to do here. I need the codes to actually seperate these two, that way i can position the journal entries in one spot, and the left module in another...without moving them both. Plus it looks like I'm going to have to resize the left module's content to fit in the box i made. Any help is HIGHLY appreciated!!! If you're going to tell me about using div codes, can you please write them out for me cause i tried following everything i've found on the site so far and it's not helping me. sad.gif

I've attached the text file of what's in my header already. Thanks again!!

the only way you can move the placement of the original modules is if you have xanga premium. ermm.gif SO the best thing to do would to just make your custom modules. wink.gif

here is the code for the custom module...and make it the first thing in your custom header. wink.gif

now, after putting that code into your header...put the following code right after the </div> from ^^^ up there. _smile.gif

but with this code...DO NOT CLOSE IT WITH THE </DIV>!!! =O

and everywhere you see the # signs, replace them with the correct real numbers.

after position the custom DIV and the blog DIV, you can simply paste your style sheet right underneath all of that DIV stuff. tongue.gif

oh & btw, you may want to condense your style sheet...there's too much <style type="text/css">! crazy.gif
