Well lets hear what kind of Processors you use eh?

I personally use the new Intel LGA 775 Pentium D 3.2GHz EXTREME EDITION, I got it for my birthday last week and it is a killer Processors. As for the price, it will come down as time goes by. I have used one of the new AMD 64 bit X2 Dual-Core and well I have always had some kinds of problems with AMD. Sometime the motherboard, or the processor itself.

Ya that is true mipadi. I read up on Centrino and well gave up, it just too out there, they have changed almost everything. Its like a 1.8 ghz Centrino is as good as a 2.8 P4. It got way too confusing for me. Ill stick with my Acer that came with the P4 3.2 HT in it. Even though Centrino has nice battery life.

I have a Dell with Pentium M in it, but its more on the mobility side, not made for what I use a Desktop or a Laptop for. It's there for when I need it on long trips to watch DVDs and such.

Yeah, the Pentium M is designed to be as powerful as the Pentium 4, but run at a lower clock speed in order to save power and generate less heat. The M is basically a redesigned Pentium III, modified to make it compatible with Pentium 4 technologies (notably a compatible bus interface).

Yet another example of why clock speed is not a good basis of comparison for processors. _smile.gif
