Yeah...talk about how much you love band here! =)
EDIT// I go to Burnaby North Secondary and I'm a flute player in our Intermediate band. Next year I'll be in Senior and I'll get to go to CUBA! Woot! Our band went to the regionals and got a 95 gold, and went to the nationals and received a silver grade. Yeah. And we also have a half-assed marching band. |

Prejudice against band kids? Aw, that really sucks. At our school no one gives a crap about who you are or what you belong to, as long as you don't annoy them or get on their nerves on purpose. And it's too bad you don't like the teacher, because I find the teacher makes all the difference. In grade 8 I had a crappy novice band director who didn't know how to control the class, oh God, I hated that class. This year the band director who taught at our school prior to the weird novice teacher in ugly sandals for 13 years came back, and he's...like...wow. I love this guy. He's the best, honestly. |
