QUOTE(blondisnirvana @ May 25 2005, 7:38 PM) I don't know if you want to listen to any older bands but w/e. They rock. New Wave B-52's Devo Depeche Mode the Talking Heads Modern English Indie/ Alternative The Cure Sonic Youth The Meat Puppets The Vaselines the Pixies Melissa Auf Der Maur Kim Gordon I have to second The Pixies, they're such an awesome band, and have influenced a lot of indie/alternative rock. It's a shame they were just a few years ahead of their time; else I think they could've been a lot bigger, at least in the early 1990's. But if you're looking for good indie/alternative rock, The Pixies are awesome. So awesome that they even reformed and went on a tour last year. I had hoped for years they would do that, and then they finally did, and I couldn't go. Drat the luck. |
