Ah, invisible friend, I am glad you asked...
First, let me say that I did not give myself such a distinction. I've never been so brash or arrogant to think of myself in a way. My friends at school, and then eventually people who didn't know me, decided to start comparing me to a mafiadon.

I never hesitate to do things for anyone and I rarely ask for anything in return. So, when the time comes from me to ask for a favor, people always tend to comply.

Guys don't really mess with me. I've been in my share of fights, but I've since stopped. Still, if something happens, guys always are willing to fight someone for me and "have my back." It never happens though because I'd rather choose the pacifist route (unless its something serious).

We had this jazz concert a few months back and everyone had these cool aliases. I was gone for college orientation and the next day, people started calling me 'Don Brandolini.' I thought it was funny, it got old fast but it just stuck with me.

Now, every time I go out with my friends or old acquaintances from school, I find myself sitting at the heads of tables and getting an unwaivering amount of respect from those around me. When you add all of this to my obsession with Scarface and The Godfather; you get 'The Don.'
