Ok, you guys, It all comes down to the people really. Nintendo can be the best company on the block, but it wouldn't matter if everyone skipped them and went to a different company. Think about, the hardware and brand names only contribute so much. It comes down the to audience.

You could argue all three other ways: It wouldn't matter if everyone skipped (choose one:)Microsoft/Sony/Nintendo to go to a different company, that (chosen) company would go down. Hardware and 'brand name'(I'm guessing you mean games?) does obviously contribute a lot, that's how a company get its audience. This post has been edited by nas: Jun 12 2005, 10:25 PM |

How many people have told me that "n1nt3nd0 is t3h suxxx00r" because they didnt have any 3rd party support? But now theyve got the whole shebang, and its coming strong. People play PS2 because of Square Enix and the like, and Xbox because of Halo. Theres no other reason to play them. A system, nor company, gets a audience by sitting and looking pretty. They get it by games, and Nintendo makes the best on the planet. |
