ok so i just got back from a trip to washington dc and while i was there this guy asked me out and i said yes lots of people knew and my friends told everyone on our bus because they have big mouths or whatever..so two days after we started going out my friend comes up to me and told me that this girl she was rooming with said she made out with him at the rec center and the girl told my friend that id never find out because i was a totally clueless ditz!! and i believed it because she made out with a guy in the way there...so i talk to my boyfriend and people who were by him and they all say no he didnt...then later on that day people keep coming up to me and telling me that the girl who said she made out with him and her friend were talking shit about me and saying that i couldnt fight for shit and he was only going out with me because he wanted some and he was desperate and that he was gonna break up with me after the trip.. i wanted to beat their asses but my friends held me back and later i hear them talking about me right infront of my face...ugh i was so mad because i was right there then they were talking about my friend while i was right there to and they acted like nothing happened at all..am i over reacting or am i right to mad at those stupid whores...if i ever saw them outside school i would totally beat them up is that wrong??

You may not find it funny, because it's being directed at you, but I think it's hilarious when people say things like that about me. You obviously are willing to fight them, so what they said there holds no weight. If you don't believe about one of them making out with your boyfriend, that holds no weight. I think it makes you look way better in everyone's eyes if you just ignore them. Or, better than ignoring them, take into account that they're talking shit about you, and stay cool about it, because they're wrong.

There's nothing to be mad about if they're not right, it just makes them look stupid. And if you waste energy fighting them over it, you get in trouble, possibly your parents could get sued, they could hurt you, even though most girls that talk like that are p**sies.

Also, someone who can acknowledge that people are saying bad things about them, and not react badly are infinitely more suave than people with quick tempers.
