Well...Kim (Days Nearly Over) and I were thinking...
A lot of people on Createblog are not very proficient in their English-speaking skills. Therefore, we decided to create an English class! This class is for those on Createblog who are constantly getting corrected in their grammar and spelling and no longer want to be seen as one of the members who isn't too hot in English. There will be tests every week on the material we cover, but don't worry! They won't be difficult, and in this class, we'll only be covering the basics. If you would like to sign up for this, post in here stating your name! There will be weekly lessons posted and pinned in the Lounge. And remember, if you fool around, you get detention -- and don't think it's not possible to get detention online. It is. |

QUOTE(tweeak @ Jun 11 2005, 5:55 PM) oh, i get it! singular: isn't = is+not plural: aren't = are+not "one" is definitely singular, so even though i said we were judging it by one, i was judging it by members. i feel so enlightened. and idiotic. ![]() i think nicki has proven her teaching skills. |
