just written in class while thinking...i never write down my thoughts like that when i have them right that moment, so i decided to for once.
My faith in love is faltering. I believe in it still, but not the way I used to. Many people say you’ll just “know” when you’re in love – there’s just a “feeling”. That I do not believe. One can be in love but it is never certain that it is love. It’s practically impossible to be completely sure that that feeling really in fact, is love. That is one of the largest gambles with it – being in love and letting yourself be in love is all a matter of trust and giving yourself up to it. People may believe they are in love, but in reality, they may easily not be and eventually “fall out” of love; which really then, wasn’t in the first place. Such realizations are leading me to believe that this is why so many people are incapable of true love due to that uncertainty – at times, myself included. |
