You know what I dont get?? Why being gay, lesbian or bisexual is such a huge deal...I mean, when someone is gay in a movie, for example, they always have to rate something above PG13...which is so f**king retarded...i mean, i'm straight, but today my friends and I had a discussion about gay marriage and that we should abolish it, which is wrong, i mean, i'm a democrat, and i dont know about them, but i think gay marriage should be legal in every state, and i dont care what our dumbass president thinks about that. And so, for all of you homophobic people that hates anyone even closely THOUGHT to be gay, lesbian or bisexual...f**k YOU. Anybody, no matter what their orientation is, should be treated like a goddam human being.

Homosexuality is the new hot topic as if its something new.

Remember when Jungle Fever came out and interracial dating wasm almost as bad as burning a flag?

It'll be some time before homosexuality is universally accepted, but for now, its just a hot topic. It'll pass when another social hot topic arises.

Anyway, back to the original post; the moral majority and the 'White Christian Party' (as Howard Dean calls it [Republicans]) are in total control of this country post 9/11. They are the new freedom fighters and 'voice of the people.' What they say is what America says. It ain't fair, but thats how it is.

When the Dems can shape the fcuk up and restore some sort of order and credibility to the party, then the progress for social change will continue. Until then, expect this country to be divided solely by red and blue and expect any idea that doesn't reflect 'traditional Christian morals' to be of the devil.

What everyone has to udnerstand is that in DC, every white collar has a stick up their ass (no pun intended) about topics like this.

Republican: "Queer!"
Democrat: He's so queer, "Well, do what makes you happy."
Independent and Green: "So what?"
