people who are generally mean get respect. i mean like, if there's this really bitchy girl at school who goes around beating up others and stuff, people will respect her cause they don't wanna be treated badly, even if they don't like her. and all the nice people get walked all over and treated badly cause people think they won't do anything about it cause they're nice.
if people make fun of others and call them names, people are nice to them and join in even if they don't think it's right just cause they don't wanna be made fun of. why isn't anyone standing up for the nice people these days? i see it all the time at school, and anywhere, really.. |

reminds me of the book "lord of the flies"
it's either you're in, or ur out. people don't want to be ostracized, so they simply join in, even tho it's the wrong thing to do. how pitiful. i try to stand up for the picked-on tho. seeing as how people sometimes make fun of me. and then i kick their ass and grind their face along the gravel. how fun. whee. |

QUOTE(dahding @ Jun 8 2005, 8:45 PM) reminds me of the book "lord of the flies" it's either you're in, or ur out. people don't want to be ostracized, so they simply join in, even tho it's the wrong thing to do. how pitiful. i try to stand up for the picked-on tho. seeing as how people sometimes make fun of me. and then i kick their ass and grind their face along the gravel. how fun. whee. I read the book too. ![]() But yes, generally, the people who give off the "gangsta" feeling gets the attention and whatnot. And also, there is the matters of the wannabe "gangstas". I've known then when they were in their daipers and they start trying to be all tough, sagging his pants all the way to his knees, and whatnot. And that friend thinks that being popular is generally more important than other things. But ehhh, whatever. Popular people in my school are jerks. ![]() |
