I bit my bottom lip, nervously, and I bit where your bottom lip touches your top lip on my left side. Anyway, now the place that I bit is extremely swollen, and around a tiny spot of blood, it's white. How can I get the swelling to go down?

It's natural for the wound to swell a bit. This is your immune system trying to fight any infection that might have got into your wound.
However, if it continues to swell, it might have been infected. And according to what you've describe the wound, i think it has swolen quite badly, hasnt it? I think you may have to apply some disinfectant, use mouthwash or even see a doctor. Hope it heals quickly after a while. |
