Ive Been to NewEgg lots of times, i just wanted to see if people would pick another site over it hehe.
for the DVD burner i like NEC. For the HD i like This Maxtor Both motherboard and processor is good, im not really an expert in that section, one question is it 3.2 ghz or more? cause i want at least 3.2 ghz For Fan i picked this because its compatible with This Nvidia GEForce 6600 gt I already have an OS cd ready and a case. |

However, you can't easily compare AMD clock speeds with Intel clock speeds. A 2.0 GHz AMD processor is pretty fast, even though it seems to be much slower than an Intel processor. Because Microsoft doesn't like that, and they can tell, by your hardware profile. |

An Athlon XP 2000+ is supposedly comparable to a Pentium 4 running at 2.0 ghz. An Athlong 3000+ is supposedly comparable to a Pentium 4 running at 3.0 ghz. Once the numbers got too high, AMD named their chips FX, because there were no Pentium 4.0 ghz. http://anandtech.com is a great place for reviews. What form factor is the case? ATX? mATX? Because this will decide what mother board you need to get. |
