i have alot of guy friends, and they are forever telling me that if you get kicked or hurt your private area too much, it could lead to infertility. is this really true? i have this one guy friend who swears he is infertile because he has been kicked there quite a few times by guys also has had some biking accidents.

also, why do guys kick each other in the balls, shouldn't you leave that for the girls to do? also, its childish and very girly of you. you should just fight like a man. if you just kick a guy in the ball, it just shows how much of a wuss you are. personally, i dont think anyone should kick anyone down there unless your about to get raped.

Infertility can happen! *read below*

Anyways, does it hurt? Yes indeed! We are not acting...well, some guys are over dramatic of how much it does hurt from maybe a very light hit, but from a hard hit, our reaction is genuine! Either way, it does hurt...the intensity of the pain varies.

Getting a real hit in the testicles (ANY kind of impact) hurts. It could be a full forced kick or just a g/f playfully patting the balls...we'll feel it and feel it for awhile. The hurt comes from any kind of impact or should I say "pressure", nothing really from touching.

The hurt comes in stages (geez, how complicated LOL!).

From the initial hit, comes the first stage: "Shock!" That's when you see guys like this It's honestly like an explosion in your balls. Think of getting punched in the shoulder. It'll hurt, you'll feel it *but* you can take it. Your shoulder has fat and muscle protecting it and it is used to getting some kind of abuse or at least worked out. A guys balls on the other hand, is NOT a muscle, cannot be strengthened, and has absolutely nothing protecting it except for a thin layer of skin. It's very vulnerable! Basically the impact is directly to the organs itself! A hard shoe, a solid baseball, a boney knee directly to the balls. No muscle, no bone, no fat...DIRECT impact to the balls. But as I was saying, it's literally like an explosion! This is because unlike any other part of the body (such as a shoulder), there are hundreds of nerve endings all bunched together and concertrated in that one spot...the testicles. Think of a tree's roots underground, all the nerve endings condensed into two balls...thats how it is. Now getting hit there you'll feel it in all those nerves. The explosion is like instant "sparks" or a glass window shattering...it's not a good feeling! Come to think of it, in comparison to females, this "explosion" I believe is probably like getting hit in the boobs, just because of the nerve endings are concentrated there kind of like how the nerves are in the testicles EXCEPT ladies, the testicles have MORE (= ouch!). SO as I was saying, we get the shocked expression as in "OMG! I can't believe I just got hit! I don't want to move because I know what happens next!"

Next stage is the incapacitated stage. You'd see a guy drop instantly into a fetal position, maybe cry (pain is intense!), but either way, he's down holding himself. He's obviously holding his testicles in order to "comfort" them (if possible). The pain "may" go away from his balls (depending on the impact...remember, the pain from bruises to the arm don't instantly go away!) In comparision with getting hit in the boob, the pain in a boob would probably stay at the point of impact and we'll say it's a "surface" pain. If there's bruising in her boob, then the pain is in the fatty tissue but it's at that spot. So let's keep that in mind, a hit in the boob hurt from the nerves being impacted ("sparks"), and pain in that area. Essentially, the pain will subside shortly...maybe less than 5 minutes later? However, with a guy, the pain is like a LARGE explosion, pain in the area of impact (bruising?) -AND- worst of all, the final stage which I expalin below: the long, agonizing pain that lingers and intensifies afterward in the lower abdomen. This girls is what tops off the cake and why you see guys rolling on the floor or down-and-out for very long!

The final stage is the worst and is usually 30 seconds after a good hit. It's the "stomach ache" stage. This is where I think girls can kind of relate and sympathize (or be glad and smirk). The impact to the nerves in the testicles travels up to the lower abdomen since all the nerves endings in the testicles are connected there (area where girls feel their cramps). This is why most guys stay in a fetal position, a "stomach cramp." I strongly feel that this is the same type of feeling girls get during PMS time since our reproductive organs are generally the same except they are inverted. Bad cramps that make you want to throw up. It feels like someone is twisting and wringing out your stomach like a wet t-shirt (girls, can you relate?) Only that this is really severe pain and it is on-going for about an hour.

So all in all, I hope this helps all the girls who were curious about what it feels like for us guys. Just remember that although it may seems funny kicking a guy in the nuts, I highly advise against it because it's dangerous. This is the part that girls don't really understand. The testicles are like grapes...literally. I hate to admit it but its true. Think of a nice large grape, its texture, and how it feels in your hands. Anyways, now imagine throwing a grape in the air and kicking it lightly. It'll bounce off your foot. Pick it up and check it, it'll probably still be hard and intact, maybe some minor bruising, maybe not. Now, imagine throw a grape in the air and kicking it full force. What happened to the grape? It probably exploded or ruptured. Well unfortunately, this is exactly like a testicle. A testicle is essentially a really long thin tube (roughly 300m unwrapped) wrapped up in a thin elastic membrane (think a grape's skin or the wrapping that gives a sausage its shape). It is NOT a muscle. It is not as durable as a muscle, nor can it be worked out or flexed or strengthened. A grape can take mild pressure, you can squeeze it to an extent...same with a testicle, then it will pop. A testicle CAN rupture depending of the severity of the hit. So if the initial impact is hard enough (girls have equally strong legs as guys), a guy may lose one or both of his testicles. They can be popped! On top of that, aside from the hit (IMPACT), it gets smushed (PRESSURE) into the pubic bone. The membrane of the testicle (NOT the scrotom aka "ball sac") which gives the testicle its egg-like shape can be popped and basically the ball will turn to mush as it will no longer hold its shape. Guys can become infertile because of this. Not only can a ruptured testicle occur, but you can kick his balls up into his body (not far up as in up to his mouth) but up into the groin area and he may need surgury to get it dropped down again. We can also get a twisted testicle from a kick. Remember the balls as free to move and are loose in the scrotom so they can twist around. Sounds funny, but if a testicle is twisted, the tube supplying blood may be blocked and if not treated soon, he can be left with a dead testicle.

Anyways, just writing this makes me cringe as I can imagine the pain right now. I'm sure my fellow guys are cringing too but I think this is a very accurate description so that the girls can finally know how it feels. Still funny?
