i trimmed my pubichair 4 the first time and then 2day it started to feel itchy...is it because the hair got shorter

first time i trimmed mines was like..2 months ago, and it REALLY REALLY itched. preettyyyyyy da*n annoying! but then... I trimmed it again like this month, and it didn't itch one bit. its normal!
