It's just frustrating cuz when im with ppl i dont know i try to talk and be friendly but i just end up being really quiet and not really contributing to the conversation.
 But when im around ppl i know really well im always loud and friendlier. So my question: how do i stop being so shy?--Edit-- 100th POST!!

wow. that sounds so much like me. everyone thinks i'm so quiet, but when i'm with friends, it's like i can talk forever. And i'm starting a new school like in August so yeah, there's new people to meet and i have to get over my shyness. >.<
and questions don't really help, because it seems sort of weird to ask someone about their hobbies. maybe it's just me. AIM works pretty well, but sometimes, i can talk for hours to someone on AIM but i've never talked to that person in person. then again, maybe it is just me. i guess you (or the both of us) could talk to new people but have friends around? so you're like comfortable. besides, it's also helpful to know that the other person probably feels the same way. =) good luck. |
