ah, I know there's loads of topics on this already,
but my dad, he drives me crazy, i think he does it on purpose. And he doesnt knwo a thing about me that even people that really dont know me at all know. And he gets angry so easily at the stupidest things. &Yanno when people will constantly ask the same question, he does that. Its to a point where I want to leave my house. But my mom is great and we get along perfectly. She says i need to just suck it up and deal with it. but i cant. i get annoyed very easily and hes just one of those people that annoys me. he lies to my mom about stuff too. not major, but its to make me seem like i did it terribly when really he was the bad guy. Eh, I just need some advice on what to do. Because i really cant take it. kthnx<3 |

my dad is the exact same way. i mean, theres times when he can be a great person.. but whats even worse is my parents are getting a divorce. it's extra hard, because since i'm only 14 i still have to choose which one i want to live with. in ways i want to choose my mom, because i need her for a lot of stuff & we get along better than i do with my dad.. but then i need my dad for a lot of stuff & i just don't know what to do anymore. it gets me in such a bad mood & i just can't handle it anymore.
i get where i just want to leave .. because i see my friends lives and they live like soo happily.. and then i look at my family & wonder what went wrong & why it's like how it is. i know it may be hard to do.. because i don't think i would have the strength to tell my dad how i really feel.. but try talking to him. just tell him how you feel.. or you can maybe write him an e-mail to his work e-mail address if he has one? i know that when i have a different opinion to his opinion, he'll try and get me to change my mind. like seriosuly.. if i don't he'll start yelling. another thing is.. since him and my mother aren't going to be together much longer.. he constantly talks bad about her side of the family. i mean.. it's my mom and my family too.. i just wish he would stop and just listen to me for a second and see if from my point of view and stop being so selfish.. .. wow.. that felt soo good to get out!
