Hey, I just saw an original episode of Power Rangers, and I looked at the colors and the people. And I noticed that the asian is yellow, the black guy is black, the jew is blue, the jock is red, and the valley girl is pink. Isn't that ironic, with all the stereotypes now?

QUOTE(XKali_chik_4_lifeX @ Jun 1 2005, 3:23 PM) I know. Haha, well whatever. I don't care though. QUOTE(jordanriane @ Jun 1 2005, 3:33 PM) http://www.rangercentral.com/pics/teens.jpg Third from right. He was the white ranger, but looks either: hispanic, indian, or a dark haired version of fabio. He's definitely not brown. ___________ It's not racism first of all. And I don't believe it's a coincidence. I heard someone say this before, and something like this is not fit for a coincidence. Is it a coincidence that people associate Asians with yellow so the Asian ranger is yellow, the black ranger is black and so on? |
