do tampons hurt when you use them or like the first time?im 14 and use pads because i am scared of them. people say you can die from them or get tss or something .. but is 14 to young for tampons?

Even if I had the choice to learn how to use one, I would stick to the good old fashion pads! The one that stay out of your body p_p;
