Does anyone know what these files are for?
Cscript.exe, and rundll32. There's something wrong with my computer, and those files might have something to do with it.. |

Both those files are Windows executables that are used by the system. Cscript.exe allows a user to run scripts from the command line; rundll32.exe loads dynamically-linked libraries (DLL's) into memory so that they can be used more efficiently. rundll32.exe is necessary; cscript.exe is not but it is helpful, and is not a bad program.
rundll32.exe can be infected by the W32.Miroot worm, which allows remote access to passwords and personal data. |
