to argue from the teachers' point of view, homework does actually save some time from teaching absolutely everything required. It lets the students think for themselves a bit in their own time, which is a far more effective way of learning than the teacher trying to teach everything not knowing whether the members of the class are actually absorbing any of it.
Damn it, I'm sounding like a teacher... I'm just trying to add a new flavour to this topic |
