I have been friends with a guy since preschool. We pretty much grew up together. But you see I have this thing about people who smoke, where I really dislike them, and he does. And he's 13. So should I tell him to kick his habit, or it's over? or should I deal with it, even though it will really hurt my feelings that he's hurting himself?

maybe you can secretly take his cigarettes away from him .. so when he goes to get one or something they won't be there.
just tell him the bad effects you can get-- like empheseyma (spelling). it's where your lungs turn black and you can't breathe. my grandmother died that way.. which is why i have no even touched a cigarette & never will. you can also try and tell him to chew gum because that helps take the urge away? at least i think so.. thats what my uncle did. here he was a 40 year smoker & when he divorced his wife & met someone knew he quit in like 3 days. seriously.. it is possible. isn't it illegal for people under the age of 18 to purchase cigarettes? find out where he's getting them from and tell them to stop because their just ruining the kids life.. oh i dunno, sorry! i hope i helped! |
