Okay, anyone read these books? If so what's your opinion on them? I have to read one over the summer.
Invisible Man As I Lay Dying Tender is the Night Catch-22 A Farewell to Arms For Whom the Bell Tolls The Sun Also Rises On the Road The Heart is a Lonely Hunter Beloved Angle of Repose Slaughterhouse-Five If anyone could help me that would be great! |

Good pool to choose from..
My absolute favorite from that list are Heller's Catch-22, simply because his writing style is absolutely fantastic, and when you're finished reading the book you'll [sigh] in amazement. As well, Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse Five is classic. His writing style resembles much of Heller's, and the book was simply incredible. All of this is pending you enjoy reading 600 page books. |
