What does ...BIA, BLM, and DEQ stands for ?

i know what the acronyms stands for .. but i dont know what is the purpose of it. i need the purpose/ description.

Example:
NASA, National Areonautics and Space Administration
Purpose/description: NASA's mission is to advance and communicate scientific knowledge and understanding of Earth ....





For BIA, Bachelor of Industrial Administration
i dont know what is the purpose and description of it. i even try searching for it but it came up w/ something else.

For BLM, Border Liaison Merchanism
i dont know what is the purpose and description of it. i even try searching for it but it came up w/ something else.

For DEQ, Department of Environmental Quality
i dont know what is the purpose and description of it. i even try searching for it but it came up w/ something else.

"The Border Liaison Mechanism/Mecanismo de Enlace Fronterizo (BLM/MEF) was developed in the early 1990s as a recommendation of meetings of the U.S.-Mexico Binational Commission--a forum for meetings between Cabinet-level officials from both countries that was established in 1981 by Presidents Reagan and Lopez Portillo.
