I was at the mall tonight and I went to the Louis Vuitton store. The attendant was sure to remind me that "we don't encourage people to come in here without the intention of purchasing anything".
To which I responded with "well, I do have the intention of buying something." I don't know if I'm overreacting, but this really hurt my feelings. I ended up buying three shirts, a pair of slacks, and a wallet. I wish I could have bought back my pride  .

I get that a lot. What I usually do to retaliate is try on a bunch of clothes and leave a mess for the attendant. Then, I'd go to next door, purchase some stuff... then come back and make another mess.
It's fun.

I think that's a light punishment. :P That's true. It's just a mess that can be easily cleaned up, but like Justin said, our pride is involved and can't be cleaned up as easy as the mess. I could be more evil and complain to the managers. When I complain, I stay to make sure that the person gets in trouble. So, it's better to clean up a mess, then to get me complaining.
