okay. so, basically there's this guy at school i've been crushing on since forever. (probably about two years) we went to elementary school together, actually just 6-8th grade, and now we're in high school together. the thing is, we used to be pretty good friends, but now i'm having trouble talking to him because i haven't talked to him a long time. i've gotten with a new group of friends this year that he doesnt really like (what doesnt help is his stupid preppy friend who's always dissing on my friends). but i still like him!! i'm almost positive he used to like me too, but i dont know about it anymore. we sort of avoid each other and ignore each other. i just cant think of anything to say to him!! its so easy to be like, yeah i'll talk to him, but when i actually get the chance to do it, i back down. i took him to sadie but it didnt work out like i planned because i stuck with my friends and he sort of stuck with his, and we were separated for most of the night. its just that i miss him and how we used to be tight. we sort of have similar friends, but i'm breaking away into my "rebel" group (we go to a private school) and his friends are still stuck in their prudish mindset. i just dont really know what to do!! the way he acts sometimes makes me feel like he hates me, but sometimes i feel like he's looking at me, although i could be wrong. but i do catch him glancing at me every once and a while. i talked to a guy friend who he's friends with too, and he said that he's just really shy around girls. but i cant tell what's going on! i dont know what to get things moving again. what should i do about it? HELP!

well first off, get over ignoring and not having ne thing to say around each other, cuz if u want to be around him that badly, then u're gonna need to be comfy with him (TRUST me, this will help in the long run). just strike up random convos with him. and if he hates his new "group" so much, then take him outta there and show him how much fun he can have with YOU. u gotta get ur self out there!!!! i hate it when girls are always saying i like him but i;m shy blah blah...well then how will u ever let him know how u feel?! u gotta give him signs, and ignoring him, or getting tounge tied won't do it. all u gotta do is put urself out there and start talkin!
