even though i hurt you and said goodbye
you still came back to me and held my head up high even though i messed up and broke us apart you still gave me another chance to stay in your heart even though i left you and disappeared without a trace you still loved me and said no one would take your place if i had just one wish i'd stay by your side i'd make up each and everyday for the tears you've cried i had so many chances but i still didnt say sorry you still forgave me , and loved me endlessly it tears me apart that i wasnt there when you died but i always wanted to say i love you , i'll be here by your side as time went by i would imagine the smile on your face id remember how you'd say no one would take my place waking up every morning knowing that your gone it kills me inside becuase i still hold on i wish i could've been the man to say these words to you that i really do care and i truly love you |
