Opposites?, Do you think they really attract Options

I am very interested in what you think...because that is how it works for me. i am super girly, and the oppisite of girly is pretty much skater. and i LUV the skaters. and pretty much all the skaters like me...but wouldnt you think that the skaters would like the skaters?

Myer's Psychology book, read it, its great! I mean there are differences, and in some cases opposites have to attract, otherwise you know, everyone would be gay or lesbian. But when it comes to extreme opposites with what we value the most, it doesn't work. I hate war, it is senseless, stupid violence, and I think it should be avoided more often. I would be completely disgusted with someone who glorfied war. I have a friend that doesn't really like war either, he doesn't feel as strongly as I do, but we still have disputes on the topic. I say it should be avoided more often, he says that sometimes we don't really have any other choice. I say what so patriotic about getting your guts blow out all over the place, that the horrible ways people suffer and die over there is not worth being patriotic for. He says it is patriotic. We argued that one for awhile. For example, you have a guy, he loves kids and wants to make some babies, kinda like me , but his wife hates kids, they are little shits and she doesn't want to go through the whole giving birth thing. In this situation you have a big fight that probably means the end of the relationship/marriage. Same is true for abortion, you won't find a child-hugging hippie like me with a girl who is pregnant and wants to murder the innocent and adorable life that is forming. We have to work out our differences, with opposites you got a lot of working out to do, and if it comes to our highest value it simply will not work.
