ipod mini or creative zen? Options

..i'm not good with all this technology and pros and cons stuff, and i dunno which to get and who to believe. some people are like "omg only posers have ipods!!" and some people are like "ipods are wayy better than those mp3 players!" help me decide.

well, anyway, these are my pros and cons

mini: nicer, not many features, costs $100 to get replace battery
zen: uglier, a few more features, costs $40 to replace battery, UGLIER (<-- thats what im most concerned about, lol. ><)

They all don't do the same thing. Certain players take videos, others have only music, some of them can even take pictures. How about you find about before you say incorrect things.
