Could CB implement a delete post option in the edit post menu. If it's there i apologize, but i couldn't find it.
I feel this would eliminate accidental double posts. |

Honestly, put aside the assumption of upping post count.
If the number of posts per member was invisible to all members but admin, I think things would changed. Attitudes seem to be attached by a post count. "Look at me I have over 1,000 posts; I'm so much cooler." "You have one post, you stupid newb lolzz.!!!!1" Honestly, who cares about a post count, put that aside and think of why adding the feature to delete your own post would create less fuss. It would surely eliminate double posts, and about 6+ posts from people saying "DONT SPAM THE BOARD, NO DOUBLE POSTING READ THE GUIDELINES." Essentially those "don't" posts should be considered as spam... QUOTE If someone has an opinion and they post it up then delete it, it defeats the purpose of posting. Who cares? It was there post, they have the right to do what they want with it. Whether they want to edit it or delete it, it was their post in the first place. It does not defeat the purpose of posting. |
