Boys and Girls Options

Okay, so I watched a video on this in health class today...haha. All right, the question is: are men and women born differently? Or has our society made it seem that way? Why do girls automatically play with Barbie dolls and boys like violence? Why do women remember landmarks better than guys, and guys can work better with maps? Just little things like that...are we truly born different? Womens' rights activists say our society just makes it seem that way. Scientific stuides prove otherwise. I don't know what to think about this yet...what do you have to say about it?

ok, so let me enlighten you on this expirement:

they took male chimps and female chimps, who had never seen children playing.

they let them either play with a truck or a doll.

male chimps take the toy truck, female ones take the toy doll.

like i said, it stems from the hunter-gatherer age of humans.

the females took care of the children, searched the brush to gather the best food they could find, did more high-temp cooking (like cooking bone marrow). They stayed around caves more.

the males got meat. they searched around for an adequete animal to kill, and killed that. they made many temporary camps, with small fires where they cooked the red meat, and stuff that could be easiley cooked. other things were brought back to the females because they couldn't cook them at temporary fires.

now: how does this affect life now? well, males tend to look for a good-enough outfit when shopping, whereas females look for the best and take much longer. males prefer red meat much more. females are more inclined to take care of children and to pretend to take care of children. males tend to move around a lot, and females don't leave behind thier home that easily.

it's genetics.

the male body is built for speed while running and efficency. the female body is built to carry a child. it is all genetic.

in fact, the reason why males will take female gender roles and females take male gender roles is completely social and against evolutionary tendenceys. it's unnatural.
