I couldn't find a Poetry Contest either so I started one too.
PLEASE DON'T COMMENT ON POEMS HERE. Poetry Contest ~Anyone can submit poems - up to two poems per person. ~There is no requirement for length and no required topic. Feel free to submit poems about whatever you want. ~Songs and raps don't belong here, I created a contest for songs/rap here. Have fun and submit :) |

This is was a writing prompt from my teacher.
 The girl Its funny really. How someone you love and spend every waking moment with is gone. Twirling the last rose he gave me makes me more curious. Why? How? Me?! His jacket makes me feel safe and it makes me feel his presence is within me. My tears won`t fall and so will I. Such pain fills my heart up, and everything inside is gone, empty and frozen in place. I shouldn`t have let him that his stupid pills. He doesn`t have the disease and he shouldn`t take medicine he doesn`t need. My heart is torn but hey what can you do? The jacket and the rose evens my emotions out and makes me think, his wonderful face is watching me now. |
