If you're really into music, you'd actually know the lyrics to your favorite song by heart - and actually know what they mean! I mean, I know a lot of people who don't even know what they are singing about - that's kind of a problem sometimes.
Anyway, one of the greatest lyrics ever written must be Dispatch's The General, The Postal Service's Such Great Heights and there's probably plenty more. We all know songs are just poetry set to music.  Anyway, I'm here to ask: Do you guys know the meaning to songs that you listen to? If so, what are some of the great lyrics ever heard? |

sadly, i do know what the lyrics mean. cuz at night, when i can't sleep, i sit there and ponder the meaning of the lyrics and break them down into section by section and figure out something about the singer/band and their life. i'm such a dork. x] oh yeah i do that during lectures in school too
