If you're really into music, you'd actually know the lyrics to your favorite song by heart - and actually know what they mean! I mean, I know a lot of people who don't even know what they are singing about - that's kind of a problem sometimes.
Anyway, one of the greatest lyrics ever written must be Dispatch's The General, The Postal Service's Such Great Heights and there's probably plenty more. We all know songs are just poetry set to music. ![]() Anyway, I'm here to ask: Do you guys know the meaning to songs that you listen to? If so, what are some of the great lyrics ever heard? |

That one line from Mockingbird from Eminem at the end of the song.. that surprised me there for a sec.
Deep words about love in songs do get in my heart. If you listen to the song very carefully and slowly (especialy slow songs/ballads), the song gets better for you. Here's a good line: "..And take my soul, into your lonely life, so that this love, can last a thousand miles..." Lena Park - Fall In Love (english version) |
