I know this has been asked before, but I have searched around and have come up empty handed with an answer.
I have a skin on my page, and right now the date at the top of my entry is black. I want to make it "#EF8FBF" but no matter what I change in the skin it stays black. I have replaced all of the black hex codes to no avail. Maybe I'm just blind.

That is the skin. If anyone can see where I should be putting the hex code, or give me a code to put in as well, I'd be very glad.

.caption, .blogheader {
width: 450px;
padding: 3px;
font-family: Arial;
font-size: 8pt;
text-align: center;
color: #000000;
background-color:;
text-transform: lowercaps;
margin-top: 10px;
border-bottom: #ffffff 0px solid;
}

I think if you put your hex code in the color: #000000 part, it should work.
