The Rose that grew from the concrete

Observe the rose trapped by it's opressers
huddled inside it's shell it slowly waits
inching closer to the light after being shadowed by darkness
The concrete has been sealed for years and is thick
the rose does not believe it has the strength to get past it
but every day the rose pushes farther
the roses thorn pierces it first creating a vivid image
a slow patriotic struggle it fights
although it struggles it prevails
Watch as the rose grows confidence
the rose that has been hidden for too long
now it has an identity as a part of nature
it decided to rise up and fight what supressed it
the pain it suffered fueled its rage
Another psuedo flower, it will not become
it will live long and prosper
It gets closer now, the crimson, violet hue gets filled with light
The concrete smashes and it finally see's the light
It starts to spread open and reach to everything near it
It's warmth seperates it from everything else
Every day it grows farther and brighter
it finally has a purpose
it no longer feels the need to hide
the roses time, it can now bide
for relaxed and in the sunshine it can truly grow
release it's talents for which it was given to show
but now the rose is getting weaker
from all the pain it suffered
it slowly fades back into the darkness
waiting for another rose, to take its place
and in this cycle the life continues
as we see in the world today
we observe its patterns as wise prohets engrave
the image of the rose
remember it all started with one small entity
which created a cycle
while the small entity grew up and grew bigger
it had the courage to fight for what it believed in and needed
constnatly breaking the concrete making little dents at times
in this world remember the cycle began with nothing but
The rose that grew from the concrete.
