tomboy Vs girly girl? Options

It's insane how people don't really know what one particular word mean. I mean how can you label a girl as tomboy if she actually goes out with a guy? com' on, according to what I know, a tomboy is a girl who acts like a guy, who thinks guys are guys [treat them as friends only], and not like guys because they think of themselves as guys already, girls who actually like girls. Durr, that's why a girl is called a tomboy because she likes girls, not guys. Then if one person says that a girl is a tomboy, but that girl went out with a guy, then isn't that called a "real girl" instead? rather than a tomboy? if you say that a girl is a tomboy, then she goes out with a guy [or like a guy], then that's being hypocrite.


The same thing goes with gays, they are called gays because they are attracted to their own sex [or kind], which is also guys, though physically gays are guys. Not the other way around, they are not attracted to the opposite sex, which is girls. That's the same thing with a tomboy.


Plus, it's not because you don't label yourself as a girly girl, doesn't also mean that you're a tomboy. Isn't there any girls that can't be called as just "girls"? You can't be either of the two, some girls are just girls. They don't act girly, but just regular girls. Girls who doesn't move as the word labeled "girly" doesn't also say that they are tomboys.

really? my definition of a tomboy is a girl that is interested in more masucline things such as playin rough sports, working on cars/computers. They have a more boyish manner but when in a releationship they play hard to get. Tomboy's doesnt mean that girls that are attracted to girls. I believe the correct term for that is lesbian. I got lost after the word hypocrite.
