If you're really into music, you'd actually know the lyrics to your favorite song by heart - and actually know what they mean! I mean, I know a lot of people who don't even know what they are singing about - that's kind of a problem sometimes.
Anyway, one of the greatest lyrics ever written must be Dispatch's The General, The Postal Service's Such Great Heights and there's probably plenty more. We all know songs are just poetry set to music. ![]() Anyway, I'm here to ask: Do you guys know the meaning to songs that you listen to? If so, what are some of the great lyrics ever heard? |

I do try and find out the meaning to lyrics.
I'll have my own meaning, and then I'll try and figure out the meaning of the author. Slipknot's lyrics are wonderful. They may seem like just profane words, but they're actually really good. Cradle of Filth's lyrics are great too. |
