Why is it that when a guy likes a girl, he gets all shy when he's around her? (Vise versa) I'm not saying this applies to ALL guys and girls, just some.

It all comes down to one thing : Intimidation.
Attractive girls intimidate men..I'll admit it. I've had my moments...ironically for me though...girls tend to make the first move on me, but I do nothing about it. It's quite sad knowing there's a girl that's had her eyes on me for the whole school year, at rallies, lunches, walking across the quad at campuses. Yet I do nothing.....what do I say??? What do I say when I'm so intimdated??? (Sorry Kim -_- ) Also, there's a lack of experience with females...especially when the male hasn't dated very much. He tries to search for the things to say but because he's so nervous and inexperienced with women it tends to come out wrong, or he just bundles up in a ball..) And lastly, some guys are just very shy in general...especially if they haven't been raised around females during their young years. Or is very sheltered inside. Approaching a girl and talking to her can be a very scary thing for some guys...rejection is a huge factor and what not, and for attractive females...they just intimidate men. It's funny to see sometimes... that's why people stick to online dating and talking online / meeting people online..but I've never went that route. Eventually I had to own up to myself and approach a girl...such as life. If a man can't approach a girl...how will he handle the biggest burdens life has to offer? -Kevyn |

What do I say when I'm so intimdated??? -Kevyn  eh, I agree, hot guy intimidate me, because I thinkg I'm ugly, and I mean I'm not THAT ugly but I'm nto exactly a princess...so ya...I'm MUCH more comfertable talking with a normal to ugly guy than a hot one, same with girls actually but obviusly that doens't matter nearly as much. I don't want to have a hot bf, I want to have a bf tha'ts not ugly...but not hot, just kinda, imbetween...so he's nice to look at, but not intimidating. hmmm |
