J.Lo for President
Singer and actress Jennifer Lopez has set her sights on the White House, saying it would be "very cool" to become the first woman president. When do you think the U.S. will have a woman president? After conquering pop music and the film industry, Jennifer Lopez says she wants to break out of entertainment. She might be from Bronx who made it big. Her dreams are apparently even bigger. "I'm a total powerhouse. If you ask me, I'd like to become the first female president. That would be really cool, J-Lo tells German celebrity gossip magazine Bravo in its latest edition. But first on the agenda is to redecorate the White House. The imposing structure is not "very cozy," she said. She tried to debunk tabloid rumors that she doesn't clean her house. Cleaning house is a great stress reliever, she said. If she becomes president, her current and third husband Marc Anthony, also a singer, would become the first First Gentleman. Policy speeches could then be delivered in a duet.Ha Ha. When do you think the U.S. will have a woman president? |

JLo would never become president, whether she wants to or not. And if we do get a female president, it would be Hillary Clinton. I'm waiting for that to happen.

QUOTE(gotnoheart @ May 8 2005, 2:30 PM) JLo would never become president, whether she wants to or not. And if we do get a female president, it would be Hillary Clinton. I'm waiting for that to happen. The chances of that actually happening are slim, given that the other canidates are god-like. I read in some magazine (TIME possibly, not sure...) that after polling their readers, the United States is more likely to have a woman President before we have an African American president. Don't get me wrong, I'd love for it to be Hillary Clinton, but there are other better canidates out there. The only reason why I'd actually vote, is because she'd have influences from her husband, who actually had a decent presidency. |
