i've never colored my hair, highlighted it or dyed it... i don't feel the need to. i mean, my hair is black and im happy with it that wey. if i dyed it, it would just be a lighter brown or this hair color i once saw in an ad when i was in china and it looked kinda pretty. reddishbrownish, sorta.
i wouldn't do it at a salon in the US. scratch that, i wouldnt be ALLOWED to. my parents think its too expensive and i'd get the same thing for less in china. after all, i only go to a hair salon ONCE a year and thats only to cut it like, half an inch because my mom forces me to cut it a little. she thinks it gets too messy. but in all honesty, ive NEVER been to a salon in the US for anything else. i got my hair japanese (chemically) straightened in CHina though. cost 390 yuan, which is basically equivalent to $49 here ![]() so i would probably highlight/color my hair by myself if i was in the US...and if i was in China, then in a salon ![]() |
