Im thinking of making a layout with this banner/blend i made. which color scheme do u like better???

I don't like the posterize effect at all. The colors are okay, and you could add alot more to it.

first of all its not the posterize filter. Its actually a gradient layer set to overlay at a low opacity over a gaussian blurred layer set at hard mix underneath that.
Second, of course i will add more to it once i actually set it into a layout. This is just the blend part. asking about a color scheme, nothing more. but thanks for ur input wink.gif

Why go to all that trouble, when you can get the same effect with a posterize filter.

because.....when i use the posterize effect, its actually not the same. It looks weird and not at all how i want it to look. I love the effect that the hard mix emits onto my photographs. I dont know. I just prefer one over the other....just as a painter prefers one type of brush or paint over the other. Its a matter of personal taste and artistic value.
