I thought starting a recipe book was a really good idea so here it is. Here, you can submit your own recipes, mom's recipes or just some that you found. here are the different categories of recipes: Main Courses, Salads, Soups, Side Dishes, Desserts, Breads, Appetizers & Beverages. Please keep the recipes short and sweet but make sure all the steps are very clear and understandable. here is the format for the recipes:

RECIPE NAME
Ingredients
1. Blah
2. Blah
3. Blah
4. Blah
5. etc.

Directions
First, blah blah blah blah blah. Next, blah blah blah blah blah blah.....Finally, blah blah blah blah blah blah.

Desserts
M&Ms Cheesecake Squares
Ingredients
1. 1/4 C. margarine
2. 1 C. unbleached all-purpose flour
3. 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
4. 1 t. vanilla
5. 3/4 C. M&M's candies
6. 1/3 C. packed brown sugar
7. 1/2 C. chopped walnuts
8. 1/4 C. granulated sugar
9. 1 large egg

Directions
Beat margarine and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add flour and walnuts, mix well. Reserve 1/2 cup crumb mixture; press remaining crumb mixture into bottom of 8 inch square pan. Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes.
Combine cream cheese, granulated sugar and vanilla, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until well blended. Add egg, mix well.
Layer 1/2 cup candy over crust; top with cream cheese mixture. Combine remaining candy, chopped, and reserved crumb mixture; mix well. Sprinkle crumb mixture over cream cheese mixture. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.
Cool and cut in to 16 equal squares.

Beverages
Oreo Smoothie
Ingredients
1. 6-10 oreos
2. Chocolate ice cream
3. Milk

Directions
Put milk in blender (the less milk, the creamier). Add 1 scoop of chocoate ice cream and add oreos to your liking. Then blend and enjoy!
