it's my birthday today. and im sick. stayed at home the whole day and missed school.
the close group of people i hang with (5 best friends) NONE of them phoned me of asked if i'm okay. after school when they came online they're like "u werent at school today." then after we kept talking and they're like " oh right it's your birthday. happy birthday" one of them totally forgot and the other one was like "it's your birthday?" i just feel so neglected. i dont know what i did wrong in life. i mean sure i've been a bitch. and i DO believe in karma... but honestly. noone remembered? and it's so weird. cause everyone else (even ppl i dont talk to) phoned me or msg me and said HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!! why are my most reliable, trustworthy friends acting like this? yea i needed to vent. i know i did a topic like this in another forum but have you ever felt this? feel neglected....... i'm beginning to question.... what did i do wrong? |

QUOTE("") what did i do wrong? You did NOTHING wrong...being bitchy is all apart of human emotions...and believe me EVERYONE's been that way at least once in their life. But don't blame yourself please, you did NOTHING wrong. But to have your friends forget your birthday is quite disturbing, but perhaps they are very busy with their own lives? This is a very selfish society and friendships crumble because of things like this. I find it very apalling to have read that people you dont talk to as much have wished you a happy birthday. ...it's your day and since it's your day you have no right to question yourself because you are only human. You aren't perfect, you have your emotional situations, and you probably had a good reason to be that way. People just don't become bitchy for no reason. (Well, most of the time at least.) I've talked to a lot of people about birthdays and they've told me, "it's just another day." So perhaps they thought the same thing? Or just too busy to think about your birthday...I don't know... ...but if you are willing to take it another step you can question them in forgetting your birthday, and as to why..? But I'm going to let you in on something...I don't even know my own mother's birthday...that's because we don't get along well, AT ALL. So you're not alone on that aspect of having somone forget it's your birthday. Hang in there, don't blame yourself, you are only human and you have a lot to offer your friends...it's their fault they forgot...and that deserves questioning... ....OR maybe they didn't forget? Maybe when you get home tomorrow you'll find a belated suprise birthday party for you? ^_^ I hope so at least. -Kevyn P.S. - Happy birthday ^_^ |
