Sorry if there's already a topic on this.

Well, our school news paper is writing an article on the Miss America pagent. (Why? I don't know. ermm.gif ) It got into the whole world peace thing and how no matter what, all the women say they want world peace. This is what I had to say about that...

I highly doubt that's what those woman want. They're too worried about their hair to actually care about the rest of the world. I mean, I'm sure some do. But the majority.. I doubt it. _dry.gif Plus, anyone who says world peace is good for the world doesn't look into it enough.

I think there are way too many wars going on in the world about the stupidest thing. But some wars are important for the world. Without it, there'd be absolutly no evolution. I'm talking about society's evolution. Look at it this way:

Think of the Romans. Do you honestly thing they would have gotten as technologicly advanced and helped society so much if they hadn't concored all the land? Without some wars, no one would have gotten any where. Period. Rome wouldn't have turned into the Roman empire and wouldn't have gotten so far and so many other things that have helped today's society. You must look much farther into war than death and misery. Without it, we wouldn't be Americans. It's a way of human progress. And that's a fact.

So, let me know what you think while I go take my shower. tongue.gif

World Peace?

Phuck. That. Shyt.

Here's world peace for yous...

Crime from the major metropolises of america have branched off to cities like Little Rock, AK (highest homicide rate in 2001). We're so busy worrying about world peace that we forget whats going on in our own backyard. Stressing out about world peace is like trying to spring before you even learn how to crawl. Handle the drug and violence problem in the US, weed out corrupt cops from police departments, make an effort to restore family values so children can be raised to be better parents than what they had.

World Peace. I couldn't give two shyts about whats going on in the middle east when I have to worry about being in my house by 10 to duck gunfire.
