of course, those of you who have gf/bf probably say yes...
however; think a second... it it really love? can teenagers who don't really know what love is, feel love? would you die if your bf/gf died? like in romeo and juliet, an 'example' of teenaged love? and also, is it ok to say 'i love you' if all you really feel is like, lust, infatuation, or fondness? |

Oh yes. Absolutely. Being a teen myself, I DO think we are capable of falling in love. But sometimes, I believe it's just pure LUST. It would be great if most teens were able to differentiate what is actually love and what is just lust. Most of the time, we (teens) tend to mix those two up and fancy ourselves as being in love.
As of a year ago when I first began to persue writing there were emotions that I could not put into words. One of them was loss.( But that's not the subject here, so we'll leave that for the time being.) The other emotion I had problems with was love. If you have never felt it how can you even begin to describe it? Eight months ago I realized that I myself was in love. It is one of the most abstract emotions in the world. So even if a thousand different people were to post on this you may never come across your own definition. Do you see what I am getting at? Every one has and is entitled to their own idea of love. For some it may just be a knowledge that came of its own. For others it is an uncontrolable urge to be with the person of their affection. |
