Okay my best friend wants me to tell off a guy who has been calling her about 20 times in one day. He constantly comes up to my group of friends looking for her, but talks trash about her when she is not around. She can't really answer her cellphone anymore beacause she is afraid it is him calling. he is really getting on my nerves too, but I feel like she should deal with the problem because he is really in effect stalking her. He doesn't seem to like me and I could not care less about him.
He claims he is her friend, but he doesn't treat her with respect at all. He almost asked her out, too. My friend has been dropping hints, but he is not getting the clue. She refuses to confront him. And I am afraid that if he says one more thing about her while she's not there that my other friend maggy and I will blow up on him. What should I do, tell him off or convince my friend that she should do it herself? |

Normally, in this situation, you should just tell the guy off without your friend having to tell you....if it's one of your friend's problem, then you should normally see it as yours too, unless it was a relationship type problem....or....you could just convince her that sooner or later she'll need to take a stand for herself and deal with her own problems. Just tell her that you're willing to help her out by confronting him with her but she would need to do the talking.
