1'm 16, he's 20, met online, should i meet him in person? Options

Hey! Ok, well, here's the situation. I met this guy online a while back...like a year ago when I still lived up in a lil city called Rialto I talked to him online a few times, he seems really cool, he's sweet and all that. Well, like 11 months ago, I moved to San Diego (2 hrs away) and I was talking to him the other night online and he asked if we could hang out one of these day, so I was like "Alright, that'll be cool". I gave him my number, and he called me yesterday. He's supposed to call me today and see if we're gonna meet up one of these days. BTW, I'm 16, and he's 20. He's gonna drive 2 hours to get here, and yeah. I've NEVER met a guy in person that I've first met online (outside of school) so yeah. I dunno if I should go through with it. I've talked to a couple of people, they just said not to be alone when I meet him... if I meet him. i dunno, what do you think?

ehh ive met plenty of ppl i met online, none of them have harmed me, i met a 21 yr old once, but that doesnt mean im for this, dont give him accurate details bout wat ur gona wear or how ur gona do ur hair, cuz then he can easily pick u out, if he asks, tell him u change ur mind a lot n that ur undecisive bout ur clothes [thas wat i always sed]

dont make it clear that you're waiting for him. just walk around the block, if you dont see him, walk around again. if hes not there in 20 minutes, leave.

^^ exactly n make sure ta check him out first, ta make sure hes by himself n that he wasnt lyin bout age, u sed that he was innocent or sumthin ta that degree, keep in mind that ppl arent always wat they seem

one thing that bothers me is that hes willin ta drive 2hrs jus ta c u....ta me that means he wants sumthin....most likely sex
