um. well i have a lot of friends from my school who went pretty darn high up the science fair scale. they (maybe about 6 people) got money and this guy got a free round trip to anywhere he wanted. and some other guy got a calculator. woohoo.
and since a lot of my sci teacher's students placed, she won $500. i'm in 8th grade too.
